Climate Change Student Summit (C2S2)
C2S2 provides an opportunity for students in grades 4-9 to conduct independent research, present the outcomes, and share their newly gained knowledge with scientists, teachers, parents, and fellow students at their local site as well as other sites throughout the United States via videoconference. Prior to the summit day, teachers participate in two in-depth professional development-training workshops, and receive extensive materials for use in their classrooms to help prepare their students for the C2S2 summit event.
